Aurora, CO (February 18, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Monday morning sadly claimed one victim’s life.
At around 7 a.m., on February 17, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Interstate 225. Reports indicate that a customer loaded into an Uber in Aurora. As the Toyota sedan drove down the interstate, it was struck by a Jeep near the Parker Road exit.
The driver of the Jeep fled the scene without stopping.
The passenger inside the Toyota suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the sedan was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the Aurora Police Department is investigating.
