Baca County, CO (February 10, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Friday resulted in injuries.
At around 4:45 p.m., on February 7, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 287. Reports indicate that a trooper and a deputy both stopped along the highway to assist the driver of a semi-trailer after a single-vehicle accident.
While on the scene, a fourth vehicle rear-ended the Trooper’s vehicle, sending it into the rear end of the Deputy’s vehicle. The impact of the collision forced to Deputy’s vehicle into the rear-end of the semi-truck.
The Trooper involved in this collision was injured.
At this time, police are investigating.
