Boulder, CO (January 10, 2020) – An elderly man sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Thursday.
On January 9, at around 10:15 a.m., the Boulder Police Department reported to a major motor vehicle accident on Baseline Road. Reports from BPD show that an 85-year-old man was attempting to cross the roadway, near Mohawk Drive, when he was struck by a Regional Transportation District bus, which was turning left at the intersection.
The injured man was rushed to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, BPD is investigating.
