Brighton, CO (December 5, 2019) – A collision on Interstate 76 in Brighton claimed one victim’s life and left several others injured on Wednesday.
On December 4, authorities responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Interstate 76. According to reports, several vehicles collided along the interstate.
The Colorado Department of Transportation responded and closed a portion of the interstate between US Highway 85 and the E-470 exit.
One person sadly lost their life in this collision.
Another person was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities worked for several hours to clear the scene of the incident before reopening it for public use.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
