Cimarron HIlls, CO (November 20, 2019) – A collision claimed three victims life on Space Village Avenue on November 17.
The Colorado State Patrol released the details surrounding the tragic collision on Space Village Avenue on Monday. According to reports, a Honda CRV was traveling through the intersection of Space Village Avenue and Marksheffel Road, when it was broadsided by a Ford F-150. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to enter into the southbound lanes of Marksheffel Road.
As the two vehicles entered into the southbound lanes on the roadway, they were struck by a Jeep Cherokee. After this impact, the Honda CRV rolled over.
Three occupants inside the Honda were sadly killed. Authorities later identified these victims as 75-year-old Margaret Martin, 57-year-old Sherri McCrill, and 58-year-old Douglas McCrill.
Two occupants inside the Jeep, as well as the driver of the F-150, were injured and treated at area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
