Colorado Springs, CO (February 24, 2020) – A collision on Wednesday sadly claimed one person’s life and left a second seriously injured.
On February 19, emergency crews were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 near the Greenland exit. Reports indicate that a motor vehicle struck the rear-end of a second northbound vehicle. The impact of the collision sent the first vehicle into a guardrail. The vehicle then went airborne and flipped over.
One person involved in the collision was fatally injured and declared deceased at the scene.
Two other victims were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
