Colorado Springs, CO (November 19, 2019) – On November 15, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North Cascade Avenue.
According to reports, 49-year-old Heiko Leach was riding south along North Cascade Avenue, on a bicycle, when he was struck from behind by a Chevrolet sedan around 2:23 p.m.,
Leach sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, authorities confirmed that Leach later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, police are investigating the incident.
