Colorado Springs, CO (January 3, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on East Platte Avenue left two people with injuries.
At around 8 a.m., on January 2, the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident at the intersection of East Platte Avenue and Wooten Road.
Reports indicate that a small sedan and a pickup truck collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. Crews were called to the scene to extract one person trapped inside their vehicle.
Two people were transported from the scene of the accident to area hospitals for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
