Colorado Springs, CO (February 11, 2020) – A collision on Sunday involving a drunk driver sent multiple victims to area hospitals with injuries.
At around 7:20 p.m., on February 9, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Astrozon Boulevard. Reports indicate that a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of Astrozon Boulevard and Chelton Road and crashed into another vehicle.
Several victims involved in the collision were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The driver of the first vehicle, who was identified as Alex Nelson, was arrested at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
