Colorado Springs, CO (November 29, 2019) – A bus accident on Interstate 25 left several victims injured on Thursday.
On November 28, authorities responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25. According to reports, a bus was traveling north along the interstate, carrying 48 passengers, when the driver lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest on its roof in the median located between the interstate and a frontage road.
Several victims inside the bus were injured. Some of the most seriously injured victims were rushed to Walsenburg and Pueblo hospitals. Victims with less-severe injuries were transported to the community center in Walsenburg for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating the cause of the collision.
