Colorado Springs, CO (November 28, 2019) – A hit and run accident on Oro Blanco Drive left one person injured on Thursday.
At approximately 2:15 a.m., on November 28, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Oro Blanco Drive. According to reports, a pedestrian was crossing the roadway, near the intersection of Carefree Circle South, when they were struck by a motor vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle left the car and fled the scene of the incident on foot.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Police later apprehended the 52-year-old driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Todd North, and arrested him for leaving the scene of the incident.
At this time, police are investigating.
