Colorado Springs, CO (January 27, 2020) – A drunk-driving accident left one person injured.
On January 25, at around 9 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West Colorado Avenue.
Reports from police indicate that 51-year-old Eileen Garcia was driving down the roadway, at a high rate of speed, when her Pontiac collided with two others near West Colorado Avenue and South Chestnut Street.
One person involved in this collision sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital.
Garcia was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of her crash. She was arrested and charged with DUI, vehicular assault, and other charges.
Police are investigating at this time.
