Colorado Springs, CO (November 19, 2019) – The victim killed in a collision on South Nevada Avenue has been identified by police.
On November 13, emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on South Nevada Avenue. As per reports, 52-year-old Harold Mackey III was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a dark-colored SUV.
Mackey sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
At this time, the Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating.
