Colorado Springs, CO (November 14, 2019) – A hit-and-run accident on South Nevada Avenue claimed one victim's life on Wednesday.
Around 7:45 p.m., on November 13, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Nevada Avenue. As per reports, a pedestrian was crossing the roadway, near the Interstate 25 interchange, when they were struck by a dark-colored SUV.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene of the accident without stopping to render aid.
Sadly, the pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene of the incident by the Colorado Springs Police Department.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
