Denver, CO (December 20, 2019) – A hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Tuesday claimed one victim’s life.
On December 17, just before 5 p.m., the Denver Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West Colfax Avenue. Reports indicate that a pedestrian was walking across the roadway, near the intersection of Zenobia Street, when they were struck by a late 1990s GMC Sierra crews cab pickup truck.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
Sadly, police located a female victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
