Denver, CO (November 12, 2019) – A young girl is in the hospital after a collision on Ralston Road (West 58th Street) on Friday.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on November 8, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West 58th Street. According to reports, a 10-year-old girl was walking on a sidewalk on West 58th Street, near Dover Street, when she was struck by a white 1998 Jeep. The Jeep veered off the roadway and up onto the sidewalk at the time of the collision.
The girl suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police later arrested the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Jose Manuel Morales-Reyes on suspicion of vehicular assault and various other charges.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
