Denver, CO (January 22, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Sunday sadly claimed one victim’s life.
On January 19, at around 2:30 p.m., authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Colorado Highway 71. Reports indicate that a car and semi-truck collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.
The incident resulted in a major fuel spill, leaking over 100 gallons of diesel out onto the roadway. HAZMAT responded to the scene to clear the road, which resulted in a closure that lasted over five hours.
Unfortunately, one victim sadly lost their life in this collision.
At this time, the Denver Police Department is investigating.
