Denver, CO (December 13, 2019) – A woman sadly lost her life and a driver was arrested after a pedestrian accident on West Jewell Avenue on Wednesday.
On December 11, at approximately 12:30 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident. According to reports, 44-year-old Saliha Suleiman was walking across the roadway near the intersection of West Jewell Avenue and South Tejon Street when she was struck by an RV.
The driver of the RV fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Suleiman incurred fatal injuries in this collision.
Authorities later apprehended Roosevelt Cribbs Jr and arrested him for leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
