El Paso County, CO (February 4, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Monday claimed one person’s life.
At around 12:38 p.m., on February 4, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident just outside of Calhan. Reports indicate that two vehicles collided along Highway 24 near Kanuch Road.
At least one person sustained fatal injuries in this collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
The highway remained closed for several hours as crews investigated and cleared the scene. An investigation into this collision is ongoing.
