Fountain, CO (January 14, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 claimed one person’s life on Sunday.
On January 12, the Colorado Springs Police Department was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the interstate. Reports indicate that two vehicles, including a Colorado State Patrol vehicle, collided along the northbound side of the interstate near the exit to the Pikes Peak International Raceway.
One person involved in this collision sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, CSP is investigating.
