Grand Junction, CO (February 14, 2020) – On February 8, just before 11 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a major fire incident on Patricia Drive. Reports indicate that a fire broke out in a home for unknown reasons.
A 71-year-old male trapped inside the home suffered fatal injuries. Authorities later identified the victim as Merrill Collom.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
