Lakewood, CO (March 2, 2020) – A pedestrian accident late Thursday evening left one person with serious injuries.
At approximately 10:50 p.m., on February 27, Denver Police and emergency medical services responded to the scene of a hit and run accident on South Sheridan Boulevard.
As per reports, a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle along the boulevard near the intersection with West Dakota Avenue.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, the driver of the responsible vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Police are currently investigating.
