Longmont, CO (November 27, 2019) – One person lost their life in a tragic collision on US Highway 287 on Wednesday.
At approximately 11:15 a.m., on November 27, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 287. According to reports, a 1991 Mercedes-Benz coupe and a 2014 Ford pickup truck collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.
Unfortunately, one person inside the Mercedes was fatally injured. The Colorado State Patrol declared the victim deceased at the scene.
Crews worked to clear the roadway and were able to reopen it in both directions by 3 p.m.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
