Silt, CO (March 4, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident sadly claimed one victim’s life on Monday.
On March 2, at around 5:14 p.m., the Garfield County Dispatch sent emergency services to a ranch in Silt for a devastating incident. Reports show that a 6-year-old boy was struck by a motor vehicle as the adult driver attempted to back up the vehicle on the ranch.
The boy suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
